So here are a couple of examples of led candlesticks…. the one on the left is a single led taken from a string of battery operated led Christmas lights and uses two AA batteries… very cheap if the batteries are free…. The one on the right is more expensive and uses two leds bought from Radio Shack and a couple of resistors from the Shack too… as well as a 9 volt battery.
Total costs if the batteries are free (I can get all the 9 volts we need):
single led: $0.20
dual led: $4.00
